I like the idea of an electrical gauge that doesn't require running fuel lines to the panel. I have a $12 FleaBay pressure gauge that works great, but I have to open the engine room hatch to see it.Joe Della Barba

Only pilots need to stare at fuel pressure gauges.

Plastic not USCG compliant
Originally posted by rpowers View PostI recently installed this one (see image) on my engine between the pump and carb. I have an extension tube off the T-fitting that goes about 12" vertical.
This allows me to watch the guage from the helm by looking down at my cockpit deck hatch (open) directly at the guage sticking up on the side of the engine.
Sweet!!!
(inexpensive on Amazon.com)
Dear Rpowers
I did have a similar gauge but my learned colleagues on this site warned me that plastic in not USCG compliant. I now operate full brass.Steve

Hi sastanley, that link http://mrcmfg.com/catalog/product_in...be8ffbe26b8a74 goes someplace unexpected looks kind of dodgey to me . Do you know the make and model? I too would like to find a 5 or 10 psi gauge.
Thank You

As POST #8 shows, my gauge is 11+ years old and pretty much looks like the day I first installed it.
YMMV I guess.-Jerry

It was this one. I bought it on Amazon in 2011.
It worked fine, but I got gas on it (long dumb story of dumbness) and it leached some of the chemicals out of the plastic lens. Plastic inline components aren't the best thing to use in the first place so I didn't really mind and it wasn't a surprise.
