Noticed that Paul...was looking for a web cam there in Georgetown SC to watch you bring her in and there was none to be had. Did you have to use choke all day or did it resolve.Mo

Caugh caugh burp...
Hi Mo
Yes choke all day and it ran fine but can't do that.
Just finished complete tune up and carb adjustment.
Installed a little hotter plug than was there before, learned that from Hanley
Started her up and runs fine no hesitation which is nice to here.
Since she had cooled down had to choke to start and then no choke and she revved up like normal. It appears I must have done something right lol
I guess we will find out how well I really did when it is put under a load in the morning
Ps I wanted to upload a photo of the plugs but can't do it from the iPad... They looked dry and light tan in color, all we're the sameLast edited by PT26; 11-24-2012, 08:38 PM.Paul

I pulled the plug in the carb last night before spark plug installation and adjusting the carb. We adjusted the carb multiple time to get it just right ended up 1 and 3/4 turns out.
This morning we're off to a great start! Pulled the choke to start, she started right up, put the choke in, warmed her up, put her under a load and took off... She's running like a beastPaul

Well, the tune up worked... The A4 ran so well today, boy were we happy!
It started out very chilly about 32 but feels like 27
Left anchorage 6:45 am down jackets etc... Current and wind with is all day. We flew through Elliotts cut current with us at 9.9 knots, crazy! Arrived at St Johns Marina for fuel and a hot shower at around 5:00. They are super cool here fuel up take a shower take out the trash etc... Shove off and anchor up outside the Marina. It turned out to be a nice warm afternoon with a good end to the day.Paul
