Thanks a lot for the fast reply. I like the concept of the OPSS turning on the pump and coil when it gets a few psi. My benched Atomic 4 will be back in the boat soon, with an OPSS for the first time. But can the switch handle that much electrical current over a long period of time? It would change my handling of the carb, once the starter is engaged.

I can only report that on "Destiny" a single OPSS has been carrying coil, electric fuel pump and 800 GPH Rule baitwell style raw water pump for hundreds of hours without incident. The switch was replaced once because of external corrosion. I carry spares which are cheap and easy to change. The boys at NAPA will show you the spec sheet for OP 6624 or check BWD S383.

Another nice pic. You know, there used to be allot of those Grampian 26's around here. We had two in the club about 10 years ago but they have since been sold and went to different areas. I still see one every now and then.

Stopping at the locks tied to the break wall was a great idea, with an Advance Auto right there I was a bit early on my first oil change on the new A4 but that's ok. When there is a place to get rid of the oil along the ICW one must take advantage. The oil was still pretty clean and I noticed it didn't burn or loose any oil it was still the same level on the dip stick... I was happy about that. Up to this point I haven't run the A4 too hard but have varied my rpm levels as I break it in.
We had a great run to Hampton, VA, except for the Gilmerton Bridge. We had to drift about an hour before it opened.
We left Hampton early, before first light and headed to Deltaville. It started as a nice morning but it got very sloppy by 2 in the afternoon when we arrived. Today was the first day I gave a bit more juice to the engine and was very pleased at the performance 1350 RPMs and hull speed with direct drive with the three blade Indigo prop.
We arrived and had the pleasure to meet Bill, It was a perfect afternoon swinging on the anchor and chatting.
So we leave out first light and head to Solomans Island.Paul

Great meeting you & Katrina today. I am really impressed with the condition of the "new" A-4 in your boat. This A-4 community is totally awesome.
I'll take lots of pics when I attempt my FWC...yours appears so pristine on the inside & outside that it might last another 50 years if you converted it to FWC.
