    This shouldn't be difficult. I would ask your auto mechanic for a recommendation.

    Several years ago I used a place just south of the 59th Street Bridge in Long Island City, Queens near the corner of 28th Street and 42nd Road. Within a 1-mile vicinity are approximately one thousand garages who do all sorts of stuff from collision work to 24-hour repairs for taxis and livery drivers, so there is quite a machinery ecosystem built up.

    For the life of me I cannot remember what the place was called. They were quick, friendly enough, fairly priced ($50 I think for a grinding), and made a reasonable guess that the head was from a '50s-era forklift.

    But you would not go too far wrong anywhere there, really.
