Greetings all, I sail a cooper 30, presently with an Albin 24 hp. diesel .I am in the process of rebuilding an Atomic which i will install when it is ready. I will be making several upgrades, fresh water cooling,electric fuel pump, solid state ignition, hotter coil mounted on engine room bulkhead etc. all intended to give me more sailing time. Fortunately the boat has extremely good access to the engine, so there will be no problem with installation.of all the good new bits. Kismet is moored in Deep Bay on the east coast of Vancouver Island in B.C., some of the finest sailing country in the world. I am a retired master Mariner, and have been an active sailor for about 60 years. I am really happy to be a new member of this Forum, and look forward to the chance to learn about my new (old) engine.
