Making my mark

Thank you. I drove myself a little bit kookoo by adjust #1 and #4 at the same time and then #2 and #3 together since I was wrongly thinking, since both cylinders were up, those tappets would drop together.
I put a sign on my workbench - COMPRESSION stroke!
I also filed a mark on the accessory drive pulley.
Now the clearances repeat correctly after hand cranking a couple dozen times.

I know where you are coming from. I keep two bottles of Sally Hansen Harder Than Nails clear nail enamel. One with my fly tying stuff and one in the tackle box.

It's Revlon pink champagne for all my timing marks. High retroreflectivity ya know.

This is not a forum. This is beyond a forum. This is too great an experience to be labeled just a forum. I am now proud to say that I can tell #1 TDC while watching the valve chamber. COMPRESSION STROKE.
