Thanks!
Got off to a good start - I had a nice sail across the Chester and back today and then ran the engine hard for a bit to get the oil heated up and easy to pump out. One of my more enjoyable oil changes
The old oil only had about 24 hours on it, but I can't make myself not change the oil for the new year.Joe Della Barba

I wasn't the only one, I saw 3 or 4 boats out sailing. It was in the mid-50s yesterday and pretty warm in the sun. Our water is down to 45
I am not going to winterize the engine this year unless I see a real cold snap coming. I did the fresh water, it freezes a lot easier with some of the plumbing out of reach of the cabin heat. I leave the engine compartment open to get the heat from the cabin, which I usually set at about 55 if I am not down there.Last edited by joe_db; 01-03-2021, 09:06 PM.Joe Della Barba
