Thanks for you rhelp today. Was able to install the solenoid without difficulty after you explained it to me! One problem did arise though. I cannot connect the post on solenoid that connects to the post that sticks up from the starter. The screw from the old one is too short. My able assistant of the day said there may have been a threaded spacer there but he can't remember. If there was one, it is gone.
Can I just get a copper or brass screw that is long enough to fit, or is there something special I need to reconnect it?
