Researching all threads I can for rebuild of hot section...

Know this is old thread. Reassuring that I am on right track....I have the one/two punch happening...

This is exactly where I have discovered
    1) Exhaust leak around pipe threads entering flange.
    2) Water leaking above Moyer water injection fitting

Unwrapping this weekend. Measuring replacement and deciding black pipe or SS. Thank you. Stay well, Tim

Tell us why you why you are interested in the hose size. Is it because you are not getting enough water flow? If the water flow is severely reduced it is not because of the hose size. Most likely there is corrosion in the hot section that is reducing the flow. Usually the corrosion build up is at the injection point or the manifold outlet. Also the pump may be marginal or if you are RWC mineral build up in the engine cooling passages.
If there is enough corrosion in the hot section to restrict the water flow most likely the engine is not performing real well.

Choose a good quality wrap for the exhaust. I tried some cheap stuff and it stank - and stank and stank and stank.

Changed for good stuff and problem went away.

      Our host sells good stuff

      Good luck with the job
