Words cannot express my sense of gratitude for this forum. My Atomic 4 is the beating heart of my daysailing business. Without Moyer Marine and this forum to show me how to care for the little beast, I might be trying to live on Social Security. Instead I can say I take people sailing for a living. Many thanks to you, Bill, and happy sailing!

There is probably an entire fleet of boats that would not be sailing today absent Moyer and this Forum.
There are plenty of old diesels now with little to no support and you can buy an essentially new A4.
* If my boat had come with a diesel, it would have been a wonderful smooth little 4 cylinder Westerbeake made from an MG Midget 1.2 liter engine. It would have been really nice until it broke, at which point I would be trawling antique tractor forums in the UK for parts Unlike the A4, that engine really was a tractor engine too!Joe Della Barba

Dang am I sorry to hear about you leaving the forum.
Before you leave could you make list of forum approved acronyms and their meaning and add it to the stickie list? You are probably the only one that can do this. Is there an acronym list somewhere in the forum that I haven't found?
Fair winds and smooth seas in the next chapter of your life. You will be missed by all.

Thank you
Bill,
I greatly appreciate your shepherding this (our) forum. Without this experience of warm, knowledgeable and generous sharing of this A4 community, I certainly could not have tackled the rebuild of most of my 45 year old engine, as well as carb, fuel pump, exhaust system, wiring, engine gauges, alternator, and starter and more. Wishing you well! You have made a difference.
Thank you!
Mary
