The “Smarter Every Day “ YouTube channel is what is good about the internet. And of course cat videos. Thought I would share for those who don’t know about it.

To add some sight to the blind link: it's a very good video explaining how a carburetor works. It features a see-through 3D-printed primitive carburetor and some really neat high-speed photography.

When you put your hand over the throat of an A4 carb, it's easy to assume that there's constant vacuum. This video shows how this is absolutely not the case, and in fact the throbbing of the vacuum is key to the atomization of the fuel.
