Dual battery switch hard to turn

You know, the off-1-2-both switches. Mine is getting a little difficult to turn. Lights stay steady when switching.
Besides replacing it, is there any clean/lube kind of thing I can do to extend it's life?

Don't think so Bill. The switch is sealed to ignition proof standard so disassembly is, I believe, off the table. Even if you could get it apart you'd have to make sure not to use a petroleum based lubricant.

The going price I've seen for a replacement is ~$35, as low as $20 on ebay.

Copy that, Neil. Although I love fixing till there's nothing left to fix, I see I'm gonna have to surrender that urge on this one. Thanks for the quick reply.

One comment about Blue Seas (I have one of their switches, and it works fine.)

Notice however, ALL of their switches has UP set to OFF. This is backwards from all the other battery switches I have ever seen, so you just have to think about it. I've left mine on once or twice turning the switch down like I did for 30 years and actually left it on 'both'
