Due to the unseasonably good weather, I decided to skip out for a sail on Tuesday. This gave me an opportunity to test the engine after some of the minor maintenance I've done.
1. After installing a proper thermostat housing gasket, the engine is nice and dry.
2. After adjusting the shift linkage, reverse fully engages and stays that way, even at higher power.
3. The engine definitely has more pep after just cleaning the spark plugs. I can't wait to install new plugs.
Overall, I'm pleased with how the engine operated, but I still have a few little things to do.
