Diagram fuse location

Am I wrong or is the 20 amp fuse for the 12 gauge purple wire in the wrong location in the attached diagram? Shouldn’t the fuse be close to the “IGN” of the ignition switch protecting the wire going to the “pos” term of the coil?

Don't think it makes any difference. The entire purple wire is already protected by the fuse in the red wire.

Good point, should be deleted or moved closer to the ignition.

I think it's in that location on the diagram just for clarity, not for placement. Follow best practices for fuses and wiring.
