Just launched, no exhaust water

After missing a season we've just launched the C&C 29 and are on the mooring. No water is coming from the exhaust, though:

• Seacock's open

• Water pump is primed and missing no fins (just 20 hours use since replaced)

• I did the acid flush two years ago and have the 20 hours use since then

• No water is leaving the thermostat housing

It sounds like the power flush might be the way to go, but is difficult to do on the mooring.

Can someone suggest a strategy?

Turned out that the heat exchanger was so plugged that water never got past the thermostat.

De-plugged from the outlet side and we were operational.
