History of Updated/Rethought info

I have noticed that there a number of cases where, starting from the compendium of old newsletters, some advice has changed over the years--was rethought, had new solutions to issues, or, was just plain incorrect and later corrected or updated. It would be helpful to have some asterisk identifying those situations and a "thread" marking the history of advice changes so that we do not inadvertently http://www.moyermarine.com/forums/im...milies/eek.gif
follow out-dated advice from our mentor without realizing it.
