Great report. Glad to hear you made it safely!
I helped a friend (many years ago) deliver an unknown C-30 from Norfolk to Solomons (~100 miles) - I carried all my tools from my own boat and lots of spare filters, a spare carb and coil, etc., etc...the worst issue we had was the alternator sporadically charged (no spare alt!), so if we were sailing, we simply let the motor idle in gear, just in case.

We brought enough fuel to motor for 24 hours, we made the trip in about 19, and the wind was helpful for about 5 of those hours. Arrived on schedule with no issues..even though we didn't have a schedule. I learned that lesson a long time ago...when you do not have a schedule (or you pad in a lot of extra time), you have a much nicer trip.
