Hi Joe, it goes to the back of the ISSPRO Ammeter. I've followed these wiring instructions:

A beautiful day yesterday here on the Chesapeake. Almost got up to 80!

Spent the day on the boat beginning in ernest a long overdue project to rip up and replace the rotted teak/holly veneer plywood sole in the cabin.

As you can see from the second photo, some of it was rotted way beyond any hope of refinishing!

A hitherto unsuspected use of the word "fun".

                  The AIS works

I am the only Coquina in the entire world ever seen on AIS. In contrast there are 22 pages of "Serenity".

Joe, Is that a C&C? If it is, I may need a tour. The project boat I am trying to rebuild is a C&C 30, and I have no idea of how some of it is supposed to go together.

Coquina is a C&C 35 MK I. The 30 MK I is her little sister - very similar construction.

Been there, done that. What are you replacing it with? I wish I had gone with NuTeak or one of the other synthetics.

I think Neil mentioned a synthetic replacement many posts ago which struck me as much preferred for a cabin sole.

Yes I did, Lonseal. It's a high quality material but sickeningly expensive. Here is the cabin sole I replaced with it on an Ericson 26. The second picture is for camparison, a real 8/4 edge grain teak cabin sole I did in my Westsail.
