I happen to have a copy of the book Don sells and a printout from the PDF on the Vanguard site.
Here's why: the parts diagrams in the book are noticeably clearer; in the PDF, somebody retyped the text on the pages WITHOUT diagrams, so THOSE are noticeably clearer. (However, the text in Don's book is perfectly legible.)
(Don, I don't know if you want to get deeper into the publishing business but with a decent sheetfed scanner and permission from Westerbeke (that the Vanguard site probably lacks) you could create the best of both worlds in a few hours...)
