How close can dry exhaust be.....

How close to the gas tank or to a bulkhead, or to wires can a well wrapped dry (hot) exhuast pipe can be?

Is there any guideline for that?

Try this: http://www.abycinc.org/committees/P-01.pdf. It does not give specific guidance for air gaps, I dont' think. I've read posts where folks describe charred nearby cabinets. The old boat I am restoring had an insulation-wrapped dry stack a few inches below a fibreglass deckhead, and no sign of heating the GRP, but I wouldn't take that to the bank. In a well ventilated space with good insulation on the dry exhaust section, presumably one needs less air gap than in a poorly ventilated space. The ABYC standard at that link says the insulated surface of the exhaust should be no more than 200 degrees, if I am reading it correctly.
