MMI Meet and Greet in Annapolis - April 29, 2017

Live in or near the Annapolis, MD area? Join us for a Moyer Marine "Meet and Greet" at Cantler's Riverside Inn in Annapolis Saturday, April 29th, beginning at 1:00 pm.

A Chesapeake Bay icon, Cantler’s waterfront restaurant and crab house is located on Mill Creek just minutes from Annapolis City Dock. It has been serving the area’s freshest seafood to watermen, boaters, and land lovers alike for nearly four decades. You can find more information, including directions, at its website here.

A number of our Forum MVP's live within reasonable driving distance, and we are hoping that many of them will plan to attend. Additionally, we have learned that Neil Dutton ("ndutton" on our forum) will be in the area for a few days and plans to join us as well.

A reasonably prompt RSVP via a reply to this post would be appreciated.

Damn! That's right in my backyard, but we won't be back until June.
Currently anchored in between Allen's Cay, Leaf Cay, and SW Allen's Cay in the northern Exumas. Going to see the iguanas later this morning.

Really sorry I'm going to miss this event.

I should be good for this
It is about 3 hours from my house to Cantler's and my wife loves the crabs.

Damn. I can't be there either but I have been to Cantler's. I highly recommend the blackend Rockfish for anyone who is not a Blue Crab aficianado.
My friend keeps an Endeavor 32' around the corner up Burley Creek.
          Have fun one and all.

I'll be there. I feel like I need to buy a couple hundred beers to all who show up as a thanks for all the advice and certainly the camaraderie exhibited here.
As a noob, I am looking forward to rubbing shoulders with the forum greats!

It looks like there will be several ladies present, including my own (although she doesn't know that yet).

Shawn, interestingly enough, it was your thread on your shaft log replacement adventure that encouraged me to buy Patina. When Patina and I found each other, she was a grand old girl that had some wonderful upgrades done to her, but had sat unused for a few years and a leaking chain plate had left a mess down below. I knew I could fix most anything on this boat (her bones were good, she just needed a facelift), but the recently replaced MMI Atomic 4 was a bit of a mystery. Going from my little 7.5 HP Merc (I grew up on 2-stroke Mercs) on my Catalina 25 to an honest to goodness "marine engine" gave me pause. After checking over the boat the first time, I came home and googled "Universal Atomic 4" and in short order found this forum. Your thread was very active at that time and was the first one I read. The stunning camaraderie of this forum and its participants coupled with MMI's complete parts department immediately put those fears to rest. I made an offer on Patina the next day.
