new MMI pump is here :)

now i have to drive 400 miles to install it - the boats near Seattle
& i live in the Idaho panhandle. so its a long drive.
im hoping it wont rain too much while im there

id rather pay to get it done,but towing is a problem in the sound.
as is trusting marina mechs to get around to it

if im there it will take awhile as im slightly handicapped.
but it will be without leaks or damage to the teak cabinets.

its my sisters boat & she worries about looks more than function.
my concern is getting it done in 1 trip -

yup its a long drive & i want to be sure i have the right tools n supplies
needed for the job.
So plz write any tips,tricks or tool recommends to help this boy out.

i have the new pump & the new extended bolt with its brass washer.

i will buy new brass water fittings as the originals are still in use.
all the hoses are new & in place,So dont need any new rubber.

my tool & supplies list i have:

pipe dope
small pipe wrench

9/16 deep sockets,9/16 wrenches

pliers

& knee pads <grin>
this A4 is in a sailboat. yup tight space.

any help or comments would be appreciated
