Shorter length wires for D.C circuit kit

It would be nice if there was an alternate choice in wire length, rather than just 18 feet, on the D.C. circuit replacement kit, that MMI carries.

As for my boat, I only need 9 feet, 10 feet at the most, of wire and I'd only be throwing the rest away, which seems like a huge waste/expense.

Any thoughts/comments???
