    transmission shift cable

    My catalina 30 shifting cable finally froze up on me and I will need a new one I can't seem to find any, all I keep coming across are the choke and throttle cables any help would be great thank you.

    Take it off and bring it into a place that does commercial drive line...the guys that make up cables for heavy equipment. They will have stainless steel fittings and heavy duty cable. I had one made exactly like the one that came off mine as I waited. I'm in Halifax Canada and "Drive Line Products" made mine.

      New 64C cables can still be found. Be sure to get the CC type rather than the BC, CC = clamp mount at both ends:
