Greetings all,
Just joined the forum. We have a 1977 ODay 27 with (what we assume) is an original equipment Atomic-4. The previous owner was having all kinds of problems with it and sold the boat "as-is". Turns out, most of the trouble was that it had been sitting (neglected) for a long time and there was lots of water and/or crud in the fuel tank. After removing and cleaning up the fuel pump, removing and cleaning/oiling/adjusting the distributor, and other minor tweaks, it is starting to run pretty good.
I suspect we will be asking for lots of help on the forum as our lack of knowledge is VAST.
