I would completely empty the tank and try to wipe out or at least suck out
the very bottom. In my case the tank has a triangular shape so most
debris goes to the bottom edge. A flexible piece of hose atttached to
a keroscene heater squeeze bulb plastic syphon filler.would enable
to reach along the edge thru the gauge hole or fill hole.
I am not positive that this stuff is hose material as my hoses are all
new replaced in the past year.
The fuel pressure gauge is mounted permanently in line with hose.
They are available at performance shops, made of metal. There are
cheap ones at places like auto palace, but they are made of plastic
and I wouldn't trust them except for a one time use, then remove ot/
If you suspect the fuel pump, then swap it out and keep as spare if appears
not to be the issue.
