    anti siphon valve

My anti siphon valve has a drain hose attatched that, with the engine running drips water. Would someone know if that is normal. The other diagrams of the wet exhaust loop do not show the extra drain or third hose for a drain.
    Thanks in advance

    It depends.

If it's a vented loop with just a vent on the top then yes, it will squirt water and the little hose corrals it.. If it's an anti siphon valve, a one way valve that allows air into the loop, then it may occasionally spit or the valve may be blocked open by debris or deterioration. The only dangerous condition is if the valve is stuck closed, not providing anti siphon function.
