Hi guys! I have a very specific question.
I have obtained a Motorola 35 amp alternator that needs a new rectifier (i.e. diode plate). I am certain that they are available and cheap, but my first search did not turn up what I am looking for. Or maybe it did, but I did not recognize it : )
Here is what I know: Motorola Alternator model MR12N451D which uses a voltage regulator 8RG2010A. I have seen a rectifier with the number 11312 printed on it in use on an identical alternator (not sure who manufactured it).
I assume that there is a generic after market plate available, but would it be a positive or negative rectifier?
What I need to know: What part number / supplier to replace the rectifier.
Thanks! Mike
