I am joining the club of folks who put the motor back together only to discover no oil pressure. The motor shop who did all my machine work assured me the clearances were with in tolerance when I picked it up, plus I assume clearances would have to be pretty far gone to have zero PSI. (i did remove the supply hose and turn it over, oil is moving just with no pressure). The oil filter/nipple assembly is intact, so Based on the manual and what I have read here it seems like the most logical place to start is the internal oil passage plugs.
I know about the one next the rear main/pump, and that is installed (2nd pic attached). Can anyone point me in the direction of the other 2, or a diagram? Will I be able to get to them with my motor as is, or do I have to go deeper(3rd pic attached)?
Anything else I should be ruling out before reassembling?
Also probably worth noting, I did install the Indigo oil filter kit (among other indigo upgrades). In the picture below, you can see where the new brass ball/plug/lock bolt have been installed per his instructions. Would anyone be able to tell if the ball seated properly from that view (1st pic attached)? I torqued to his specs.
Appreciate any input or suggestions in advance.
