No power when in gear!!!!!!!!!
I Have a '76 c&c mark3 with a 30hp atomic 4.
Started engine this year without any issue, works smooth in neutral. But when putting in gear, engine had no power and would stay going although very slugish. Engine will not respond to throttle when in gear, but works fine in neutral.
My first thought is a gumed up carb. althought I drained the float bowl last fall.
I still have a quarter tank frm last years gas with gas line antifreeze added to take care of any condensation issues.
Engine ran great all of last year with no problems.
Should I take off the carb and see what I find?
Any help would be great.
