cooling and leaks

Well, I think I've got the fuel system all sorted and have been working strictly on the cooling system. I've got numerous posts on my problems but right now the problem is a leaking thermostat housing and water pump despite new housing, gaskets, sealants, surface prep of head and water pump seals, etc respectively. Possibly overheating issue will be back if I can ever stop leaks and reassemble alternator, distributor, etc to try again. Oh, and patience has run out--the MAIN problem.

Did you ever check the possibility of the housing being cracked, as per one of the previous posts?

I think you are seeing a shadow only. I took a little break from the A4 on the Cat 27 to win 3rd place in the Olson 30 Nationals at Lake Tahoe as Main Trimmer (!). Hope to get back to the mayhem soon.
