Yes it is. I vaguely recall hearing/reading something about easy-to-apply hydrophobic coatings a while back. I guess this is the stuff.
Gotta wonder how durable/abrasion resistant it is and how long it lasts.- Bill T.

Hmm
I have seen this a couple of times now. The price is high however it works on a prop or the bottom WOW.
A few years back a member of our YC was involved in a bit of testing of a product that they said was a "special 2 pt epoxy" that was simply to hard and to "slick" for growth to get a good hold of for growing and sticking. Some stuff did and would grow but once you hit the ocean and about 12~15 kts I think it was all growth would just "fall off" and you again had a slick bottom to play on. For sailboats it was marketed as reducing your diver charges as the hull could be brushed off with a soft rag or cleaned in a few minutes with little effort. I got to play with a few small samples that were hung next to his boat. After being in for a month you could COMPLETELY clean with your fingers. They said it would cost about 5K for a 30 footer and would last over 5 years. Haven't heard anything since!!!
I wonder if this is a spin=off of the same " slick-tech"?
