    Gaskets

I've rebuilt an early A4 and have a few gaskets left over from the Gasket Kit. I've determined that a few of the small gaskets are specific to the later model A4 but there is one round gasket 8" in diameter that I can't figure out. I suspect that it maybe for the V-drive or 2:1 reduction gear. I have the direct drive reversing gear. Can anyone help me out? Or maybe there is a link to a reference that has all the possible gaskets associated with the A4 early/ late and trans/reversing gears. Don Moyer's online catalog has a good listing but does not have this one listed. Tks

    Simon,

The large round gasket is the one used in the 2 to 1 reduction gear engine, between the round bell housing and the small gear housing plate.
