Don't hold your breath. I'm told that catalytic converters are classified as "toxic waste", and must be removed before the car is put out for "part pickers"

Every car I've seen in the local salvage yard (Crazy Ray's) has had the converter removed with a cutting torch, destroying any flex coupler that was there.
