The dreaded water pump lower bolt

The lower bolt is completely round, I was able to grind out the top bolt but there isn’t space to get the grinder to the lower bolt. Any tips? I can’t get a bite with my sockets, wrenches, or pliers .

Perhaps a "new sharp" pair of water pump pliers~chanel locks. Or a small Dremel grinder.

I have gotten to some out of the way places using an angle head drill and a grinding stone either arbor included or mounted style.

That is a very difficult spot and I can't see your space. Sit back and dream something up while digging around in a hardware store. Just be careful not to destroy the pump.

      MAYBE TRY THIS?

What if you remove the ACCESSORY DRIVE and access the back side of the Lower Bolt?
