Hi
I just took my engine out of the boat for checkup and maintenance during winter.
It was seated on very thin rubber pads, and there were numerous washers to shim the engine.
My question is: what should I use for padding anew the engine and cut vibrations and noise ? Is it better to use some kind of springs, or rubber pads ? Where do I get new and thicker pads ?
Another question: when I'll put it back, I will have to adjust the angle for good shaft alignment. Is there a special technique involved ? It is critical, isnt'it ?? It sould be well done before I put the boat on the water, or is it still adjustable after ?
Thanks
