Pulled this A4 apart today. Look familiar to anyone? If you fess up I will send it back to you free of charge........This is not a joke, this was in the oil pan exactly as in the photo. Wow, just wow. I bought this from a guy last year with the intention of a rebuild this winter, now that I have time I decided to put my efforts into this and try to get her all brushed off, I was not expecting to get a free tool in the deal!
Anyone looking for this?

How did IT get there?
Perhaps it's time to formulate some theories as to how this (that) got (here) there.
Friday 4:59pm mechanic?
Disgruntled repair tech?
Bad joke?
Bad luck/? Butter fingers? Well it should be ok down there as long as the seas don't pipe up?
I know exactly where I can find a 6" adjustable
I'm still scratching my head.

Al. every time I check my oil I have to clear off many sunflower seed shells off my engine with an air hose. The Chipmunks hide from the birds and squirrels after raiding the bird feeder and hiding up & under the hood. Fun to watch as long as no wire chewing happens.
Had a friend whose Hatteras 40 something was totaled after a rat infestation. They raided the food and chewed wiring every where including battery, instruments, gauges even chewed through some bulkheads. Due to a health issue they were away from the boat for about 6 weeks.
