Ok, I'll take a guess.
I know clockwise from 8 o'clock to 10 o'clock is Don & Neil.
2 o'clock I am guessing is Dave Neptune and 4 o'clock is Thatch. I may have these two backwards, but I think I have them correct.
Regardless, What a great group of gearheads.
And, what a nice view out of the window!Last edited by sastanley; 01-28-2018, 01:23 AM.-Shawn

Many years ago, after a tragic plane crash, my company instituted a policy limiting the number of board members and spouses allowed on the same plane.
Sometime later, after a management outing in Florida, this policy was informally amended to include the maximum number on a golf cart. My boss at the time had somehow ended up on an Interstate.
Hope these guys didn't similarly tempt fate. Too much brainpower in one place....

22nd Street Landing is known for its seafood and we were not disappointed. Among us we enjoyed mahi-mahi, 2 x shrimp scampi fettuccini and beer battered fish & chips. The restaurant is in my marina complex, visible outside the window.

Wow! what an evening. As far as who the guys around the table are, Don and Neil are on the left and I'm the guy on the right actually wearing shoes. The food was great and I'm still trying to "digest" the subject matter discussed. The weather on the west coast cooperated for Don's visit and I hope he enjoyed himself. Before saying goodby to Don, I commented to him that the most important thing I have gotten from his A4 efforts are the friends I have made whose common interest is a small 4 cylinder engine.
Thanks Again, Tom

Great evening!
Neil, Tom, and Dave; thank you so much for your extraordinary hospitality over the past number of days! I’m still recovering (slowly) from the over indulgence of intellectual stimulation, great weather, and of course, the natural beauty of California. What a wonderful part of our great country!
We'd be remiss if we didn't also take this opportunity to acknowledge the incredible job our Administrator (Bill) does in keeping our space safe for us on the Forum so we can freely share information, and occasionally spawn rendezvous' like this one.
Thanks again to Neil for hosting this great weekend,
Don

Was this photo retouched? You guys clean up suspiciously well. I imagine the lot of you generally spattered with MMO, SAE10W30, and the occasional bloody splotch from a knucklebuster somewhere on your engines/boats. And maybe some propylene glycol, for you fancy-pants with FWC.
And, of course, all hail, Bill!

Thanx to all for a truly good experience. Meeting Don face to face was fun and very interesting. The conversation was stimulating the food was good and the company was special.
A special thanx to Neil for stepping up for Don"s so. Cal visit and including me for dinner.
Amazing how a little "old" Atomic 4 could create so much interest so many places around the country and how well Bill keeps the forum clicking away for so many to enjoy.
Keep'em spinning.
