some old pumps...

I was visiting my 80 year old dad. He has a bit of junk at his house. I was looking for a plumbing fitting and noticed a pump. One thing led to another and he told me to take the pumps, as he is getting old and wants to get rid of some things. (as if I wont inherit them anyway)

I dont know where they are from, or how old they are. The 1 inch Jabsco, dad says he used to cool the straight 8 Chrysler on the Six Pack. The Six Pack was a Maine built fishing/lobster boat dad and his dad bought to use for charters. He said he "turned it slow" referring to the 1 inch pump.

We used to have a collection of similar pumps down in the old equipment shed. As these things go, I wouldn't be surprised if they're still there, buried in the muck, where the shed used to be. They might be from old farm equipment, but I kinda think Dad told me some of them came from old washing machines.
