I am in the process of swapping my A4 for a rebuilt A4. While the boat is on the hard and the old A4 is out of the way, I decided to upgrade the scupper drain thru hulls. They are much easier to access when the engine is out of the way. Here are some before and after pics:

I also replaced the engine intake thru hull.

You will sleep so much better at night.... Nice job with the backing blocks and thru fasteners.

Thanks. The hardest part was the repeated dry fitting, checking for gaps and sanding until everything fit with no gaps.

+1 on the backing and proper flanges.

As you probably know, now you have MATCHED threading vs mixing NPT and NPS on thru hull to valve.
