    Whata relief

Hello all, from Jim Davis in Bradenton, FL. New to the A4 and sailing community. My partner and I purchased a Morgan 33 4 or 5 months ago,and just now seeing the light at the end of the anchor line, where the A4 was about to find it's best use. Today was the first day with no new headaches. ran for a solid 2 hours with no overheating, shutdown, oil leak, or coil deaths. After reading through a couple of hours of forum input, we now believe there is hope. Seems like I'm following the same footsteps of many satisfied and experienced A4 pros. We've converted to EI along with new fuel pump, a couple of coils, several carb pulls. Went through the warm up/shutdowns for a couple of weekends solved with a internal res. coil. now need a water pump and re-wire.
Thanks to all write-ins, and looking forward to your continued help and support.

    Hi Jim,

Sounds like you have been throught the ringer. My wife and I just purchased a 28 foot Sabre a few months ago. We have had luck with the A-4 except for instruments & wiring, making an oil change, etc, mostly due to me being a newbie. I seem to be correcting a lot of small glitches all over the boat, but nothing to make me ditch it or the A-4.

    Hope your luck improves.

    Steve
