Instrument Panel Replacement Part

I have a Ranger 30 sail boat with and A4. The cockpit instrument panel has 4 2+" Gages and two switchs. The panel is made of molded plastic and is three demensional. The outside measurements are 12 1/4" x 7 1/4". Aproximately 3 in deep. Does anyone have an idea of where to find a replacement panel?

If you can't make something out of plexiglass, I'd think about creating a wooden mold and using fiberglass, but then I love puttering about on stupid projects. Or find someone in the Southeast that is stripping hurricane damaged boats (easier said than done). You might want to ask on the sailnet.com Ranger email list if anyone knows where the original part came from - amazingly, you can still get some parts after 30 years!

Tap Plastics

I'm not sure if TAP exists down in So Cal, but check out their website @ www.tapplastics.com... They will custom fabricate just about anything, and they sell alot of supplies for casting your own replacement. I've done an exhasting search on the internet and the only place I could find with something pre-fabbed was from SSi (http://www.ssicustomplastics.com/everything.htm ).

hope that helps!
