Help ID this pump plz

Hi team,
Can you help me ID this pump?
The seals gave way which led to water passthru. Visually it looks like all the MMI flange pump pix I've seen but I'm no expert. The markings/stampings are "SG 62" and "905 572"... unless that's code, I see no names or mdl numbers.

A great answer would be "Ed, that's an MMI so you can order the rebuild kit at Moyer"

With a last name like Moyer I don't want to doubt you but I do want to share more info and ask one more question, before I buy a kit. None of the parts on the website look like mine, specifically the shaft.

My pump does not have a cam shoe, cam shoe screw, drain, or grease cup.
The shaft does not have a small snap ring on the impeller side.
The shaft is stepped, not one diameter.
The flange-side of the pump housing takes a large 1.75" snap ring.

With this info could you still confirm it's an Oberdorfer? Just based on the shafts for sale on your store, it may not.

I showed your picture of the pump to Don and he thought he saw the brass looking cam shoe in the upper side. Upon seeing the additional pictures, he says it is one of MMI’s 502 flange pumps. Good news there are also rebuild kits for it on the website catalog.

The reason the shaft looks so different from the ones in our catalog is because the ball bearings are completely destroyed (probably from water leaking past the water seal for many years) and the races appear to be part of the shaft. It looks like the outer races of both bearings came out during disassembly which is a blessing. In most cases, the outer races have to be ground out when a pump gets to this condition. You may be better off considering a new pump. D Moyer

Numbers on MMI 502 flange pump

Elgineddie; "SG 62" is the manufacturer's housing part number. The numbers "905 572" indicate that your pump was made in September 2005 and it is our 572nd MMI flange pump. There are no official factory wear tolerances available, but if your housing cleans up nicely and the ID of the impeller chamber measures within .005 or so of the original 1.975 ID (measured just below the machined-in cam shoe), it should be worth rebuilding.
