snake oil

Those look pretty good...and since they're "guaranteed", what's the risk?

When I bought my A4 powered Catalina eleven years ago, I don't think the PO had ever heard of MMO, but he carefully schooled me on the use of Reled, and left a can of it onboard for me.

200 to 300 mies, just enough time for the salesman to get the hellouta Dodge.

In 1978, I tried those miracle plastic pellets once in a truck that smoked BAD! We stuffed them in the sparkplug holes and fired it up. What a racket! It seemed a little less smokey for a day or so; then it was back to belching blue. The truck got stolen from us soon after that. We had good laugh over it.
