    Tachometer

I plan on adding a tachometer to my A4 this spring. I was thinking of the one offered by Moyer Marine but wondering if there are any others that would be recommended.

Larry, there are many tach's available and most of them are pretty good. However supporting our host will yield a more positive support for you and all involved on this site.

As Dave said, supporting our host is a good thing (for all of us)
Another benefit of getting parts from MMI is you know that they will work AND you get expert and experienced support.

My tach is over 10 years old and going strong...

I'd like to kick it up a notch. I've had cheap instruments on a boat before. They didn't last to long before they failed. I finally got wise and went with "marine grade" instruments and was a lot happier.

There are 1001 tachs of various sizes and quality to be found. The Isspro gear Moyer sells is quite good.
I have a FleaBay special myself, it happened to fit the hole an old instrument left.

My claim to fame is that I bought the first tach that Moyer sold.
Still going strong over 20 years later!
