    No oil pressure

Hi guys, I know this has been posted before but none of the previous answers soled the problem.
I have just rebuilt a 77 A4 and I have no oil pressure.
I have changed the gauge, double checked that with a pressure safety switch, put on a manual pressure gauge, checked the oil galley plugs, the pressure gauge nipple, the oil pick up elbow, blew out all the oil passages, checked the pin on the oil pump and still no pressure. Pump looks fine and was giving 40 PSI before the rebuild.
WHAT AM I MISSING, this is driving me nutty. (short drive I know)

    Not good

Wow tough luck here. You probably missed a "plug 1/8 NPT" inside the block as there are a few in the delivery galleys. Not much else since will cause zero pressure and you checked with a mechanical gage to confirm.

And a welcome to the MMI Forum!!

Did you adjust the oil pressure regulating valve?

Yup, that was the first thing as well as reseating the valve.
