Starter Rebuild
I am in the process of rebuilding a delco starter from my A4 and I am a bit confused. When I took the starter apart there was a cooper or brass bushing in the drive end housing of the starter, however when I look at the A4 exploded parts manual it says that the bushing is not used. It does not make any sense that this bushing would not be used. Is this correct and if not does anyone know what the part number is for the bushing? I have found that Napa has all of the parts such as brush holders and the like, but you have to do some research to find the right part numbers.
