Anyone drill out the non-existent water jacket holes in their head?
Hi team,
I have the head off and see 5 etched spots in the head where there are water jacket holes in the block but no matching holes in the head. Anyone drill out those non-existent water jacket holes in their head? I searched and read a post Don made that there were changes in coolant passage design over the years. I get that. But now that the head is off, I'm able to drill them out IF it's advised. More holes = more better? More holes = more problems? Can they even take a hole there? Looking for input on this. Pros? Cons? Thanks! ![]() Last edited by Elgineddie; 09-27-2022 at 05:02 PM. |
