OnLine Metals
http://www.onlinemetals.com/
I go here for small pieces that are difficult to find elsewhere. Like for a 0.25" thick x 3"W x 12" length of 316 stainless for a water jacket cover.... And, they have the best legal disclaimer I've had the pleasure of reading!

I bought some SS for my rudder rebuild from Online Metals.
The metal appears to be what I ordered, but you cant tell what the actual composition is, of course. They delivered the SS marked 316/316L. I wated 316L but that is the best they can do. It was also marked India. In typing about my project online, many guys recommended online metals. |

I ordered my stainless for new chainplates from them. The metal was marked properly(316 Blah Blah...) and came with certification paper from a plant in Taiwan.
I have a friend who owns a machine shop and he uses them a lot. All good dealing with them. Russ
