Hi, I know a guy looking for a 3 blade prop. He's going to experiment with my 13/7 three blade in the next month or so but I think that's too much prop for him. Do you have any idea what type prop came off that boat? Thanks in advance.

13x7 *two blade* is probably too much, let alone 3 blade!

Hi Joe,
He has a Hughes 37 with reduction. The previous prop was a very small 3 blade and last year he bought the indigo two blade. Boat still won't get up and go or reverse well and he gets in trouble trying to bring it alongside...not enough umph. I was thinking try 12 / 6 three blade but I don't have one. He had one and sold it year before last before ever trying it...to bad because I think that might be the animal for him.

Correction, he was just to my house and picked up the prop. He has a V-drive 1:1 He will try it but has a line on an indigo 3 blade for an atomic 4 as well. Pierre (has the indigo 3 blade) will be at the club tonight and he will ask what size that it. He knows mine is likely too big for the engine to swing...we will see what he comes up with. Right now, with the indigo 3 blade he doesn't have much "way-on" unless calm conditions. Once the wind up he can't control the boat to bring her back onto the dock.
